Shihan Lono Ancho

Shihan Ancho was born in Hawaii in 1928, was known as Lono, the name is known to Hawaiian god of Love and Friendship, which fits with his personality and his achievements.
He began his training with the teacher Wally Jay, in KodenKan under the supervision of Juan Gomez.
The teacher Width served as an instructor for the 82nd Airborne, the First Special Forces Group, the Fifth Special Forces Group, was Cadet Judo Team of West Point Military Academy, U.S. Special Warfare School and Assistant Commander of the Military Academy New York.
Professor Lono served in the army for 27 years, including seven missions to Vietnam as a Green Beret Unit's Special Forces, took in 3000 to have his parachute jumps in combat, received 28 Military Citations and retired Army Officer the United States.
During his youth, Professor Width appeared in several movies: The Naked and the Dead, Beach Head, Get-Set-Go, and some television appearances with Ed Sullivan, Steve Allen Show and the Jack Parr. Professor Lono was part of the First Generation of dance Ryu. He continued teaching martial arts and writing poetry until his death on January 27, 2003. Shihan Guillermo Guzmán

Shihan Guillermo Guzman, began the practice of Judo and Jiu-Jitsu in March 1969 with Shihan Orlando Madrigal Valverde (qepd) and practiced with him for 22 years.
In 1974, he was national runner-runner for national youth teams and Costa Rica in the category of semi-heavy (Judo). In addition, the same year, participated in the seminar taught by Sensei Randori H. Nagamine. (3rd dan in judo)
In 1975, he was national champion Costa Rican youth category of semi-heavy, and champion of the free category (Judo), national champion (mayor) of the middle class and champion of the free category of Costa Rica, and won the prize for better competitor.
In 1976, he was champion of the category of medium lightweight national championship in Costa Rica (Judo), and prticipó in the seminar and Tachi Waza Yawara taught by Sensei N. Kato (6 th give Judo)
In 1977, he was runner of the medium category and sub-lightweight champion championship summer black ribbons of Costa Rica.
In 1978, won first place in the championship between academies Center americas and Mexico (against the disputed final of Peripheral champion Mexico City).
In 1979, won the second tournament of "Embassy of Japan vs. Costa Rica. Japan, "was the only play Costa Rica in the finals against the Japanese.

The sensei Merino began his training in Judo - Jujitsu under the supervision of Hanshi Ramon Lono Width Jr. in Kodenkan dance Ryu School in 1990 at the age of 12 years.
